Designing your new home is a wonderful experience, but many people can not picture exactly what they would like in a home. That is where pre made house plans come in handy. During some searches online I have found some great sites that offer pre made plans. I use the plans they have on there site as inspiration for my projects or sometimes I take the plans and add in furniture and other decorative elements.

Recently I have been looking for Victorian home plans as I really wanted something that was not a square shape, but had many other elements to it. I’m working on my portfolio and needed something with a little more to it. I found out about this site that has not only Victorian plans but they also have the Mediterranean home plans that I really love. If I could design my own home, it would be in that style. The one thing I love about this site is that there are actually pictures of these homes. There not drawings like many sites like to have, they are real pictures. This is great for someone who can not see what they want, or what they like.

Home plans are the most important thing to have when building a home, they can be expensive but you can’t start building until you have them. Having them professionally done by an architect can be expensive since you are paying for there time, there creativity and for the customization. If your short on funds pre made plans are a way to go that will save you time and cash.
